Occasionally I bump into people who doubt that Jesus (Yeshua) ever existed, deeming him to be a fictional character like Hercules, Lochness Monster, or Santa Claus. I am not surprised that people have trouble recognizing who Yeshua was, what he did. I am not even surprised that people fail to recognize the significance of the Messiah coming into the world. But to doubt, his very existence reveals lack of awareness about non-biased historical witnesses that assume his existence as a mundane fact. Yes, today the historians possess numerous historical mentions of Jesus from three different categories of witnesses: Christian, Jewish, and Roman.
