Follow God

In the chapters we read this week, the prophet Jeremiah foretells disaster, a time of judgment upon Israel. We intentionally read this passage whenever we recall the destruction of Jerusalem and reflect on this hour of judgment. Yet even in the midst of harsh judgment and ruin, there is always hope with God. It takes the eyes of faith to perceive it and an open heart to sense it. Walking with God means sometimes following him down a very difficult road.
