This multi-part seminar, "The World of Hebrew Prophets," explores the ancient messages by seeking to understand the world, the events, and the circumstances that surround the lives of prophets and their audiences. These recordings are segments of an undergraduate class I taught at a Christian college. These are lectures on the book of Isaiah, covering chapters 40-66, where the prophet speaks messages of consolation and where the famous "Songs of the Servant" appear.

For your convenience, the 1.5-hour-long lecture on Isaiah 40-66 was broken up into multiple shorter segments. The entire series can be watched in any order, but I highly recommend watching them from the beginning. The best place to start with the Prophets are these videos!
