Psalm 104 helps us see ourselves as a part of God's marvelous creation, the awe-inspiring environment that we sometimes can take for granted. So, our nephesh, our soul, can connect with our Maker even through all he has fashioned. We are a piece of a much greater tapestry, and if we recognize it, we will be in greater harmony with the world around us. Enjoy another modern musical psalm rendition, and let ancient words ring as new expressions of praise.
יִשְׂמַח יהוה בְּמַעֲשָׂיו הַמַּבִּיט לָאָרֶץ וַתִּרְעָד
May Almighty rejoice in his works, let the earth shake at his gaze.
יִגַּע בֶּהָרִים וְיֶעֱשָׁנוּ יְהִי כְבוֹד יהוה לְעוֹלָם
As the mountains break out in smoke, may the glory of God never end.
אָשִׁירָה לַיהוה בְּחַיָּי
I will sing to the LORD as I live
אֲזַמְּרָה לֵאלֹהַי בְּעוֹדִי
Praise my God as long as I breathe
בָּרֲכִי נַפְשִׁי אֶת־יהוה הַלְלוּ הַלְלוּ־יָהּ
Bless ADONAI, O my soul, hallelu, halleluyah!
יֶעֱרַב עָלָיו שִׂיחִי אָנֹכִי אֶשְׂמַח בַּיהוה
If my thoughts are pleasing to Him, my rejoicing will be in the LORD.
יִתַּמּוּ חַטָּאִים מִן־הָאָרֶץ וּרְשָׁעִים עוֹד אֵינָם
Sinners carried away by the wind, and the wicked prosper no more.

Hebrew-English Interlinear Psalms
For those who love Psalms and especially love the way they sound in Hebrew, this handy volume presents them in an interlinear format. As it is with most poetry, sometimes translations are not so straightforward, and it's so easy to see what original words lay behind the English text. This volume allows students of Hebrew to quickly build their biblical Hebrew vocabulary and, at the same time, immerse themselves into their favorite psalms. I have used it for both study and for devotional reading as well. And I can recommend it for those who would like to try the Psalms in original and grow in their comprehension of the biblical language as they read.
