The First Book of Enoch (Ethiopian Enoch), also known as "The Book of Watchers," is a well-known Jewish composition from the Second Temple era. In this book, Enoch is taken to heaven, where he is shown many secrets. He learned much about the past, about the powerful Watchers who corrupted mankind, and why they were punished by God.
